Estate agents: Book March 11 for Financial Intelligence Centre’s new reporting system

There is a new financial registration and reporting system, goAML, that has been introduced by the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC). In order to get everyone up to date with how to use this, FIC will be hosting two interactive information sessions for all concerned on March 11, 2016.

“We strongly advise principals and agents to enroll for this free session, as the information gleaned there will be invaluable as to how to use the system and how it affects day to day reporting,” says Annette Evans, general manager of the Institute of Estate Agents, Western Cape.

The goAML system is an integrated software solution implemented by the FIC as its preferred IT platform for registration, reporting, data collection, analysis, case management and secure communications required for the FIC’s daily operational functions and requirements. The sessions will be broadcast live and simultaneously to select venues across South Africa, one in the morning and one in the afternoon at 9am to 11am and 12 noon to 2pm respectively.

In order to streamline the booking process, this must be done online. Evans recommends agents book as soon as possible as seating is limited at all the venues. Please ensure that you select the correct venue and time slot when booking. To book a seat, click here.

After the electronic booking is made, an e-mail confirmation will be sent verifying the booking or one advising that the venue selected is already fully booked. If there are any queries, please call 0860 222 200.

FIC has said they will hold further sessions on goAML subject to demand.
