Rosebank’s Tyrwhitt breaks ground, apartments still up for grabs
Chris Renecle, MD of Renprop, said that if The Vantage – Renprop and Grapnel’s first residential development in Rosebank launched in 2014 – is anything to go by, owners at The Tyrwhitt can expect their asset to show solid growth during the construction phase. “Owners at The Vantage benefited from capital growth in excess of 25% during the construction phase, which took roughly 18 months,” he said. “This is phenomenal growth for residential property and reaffirms the strong demand and need for executive apartments in the Rosebank precinct.”
When it comes to the design and layout of the building, GLH Architects say their brief was to create a building that would reflect the suburban and vibrant nature of the site and its surrounds while at the same time creating a contemporary comfortable living environment in multiple apartment types.
The Tyrwhitt consists of a number of different apartment designs to cater to different lifestyle needs. There are predominantly one- and two-bedroom configurations in line with investor demand. Each apartment has been designed to make maximum use of the internal space and views over Johannesburg. The ground floor coffee shop is designed to extend the boundaries of the commercial hub activating a pedestrian lifestyle.
There are a few units still available at The Tyrwhitt which are ideally suited to investors wanting to secure an executive apartment in the heart of Rosebank.
Construction is expected to be completed in mid-2018.
