Pam Golding Properties is hosting a street store on 16 July 2016, as part of their Mandela Day initiative. The company is collecting warm clothing, blankets, shoes, food and other items for the street store that will take place at Elim Night Shelter in Elsies River, Goodwood in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs.
“Thanks to the generosity of local residents, last year’s event was a huge success,” said Charlton Williams, Pam Golding Properties area principal in the Goodwood, Athlone and Belhar areas. “We are hoping this year to also make a difference during these cold winter days and nights.” He added that, in addition to the warm clothing and blankets, they plan to offer a warm meal and hot beverages to the homeless.
Anyone who can assist with donations can drop these off at Pam Golding’s Goodwood office – Unit 3, The Boulevard, 159 Vaco Boulevard up until 5pm on 13 July. Alternatively if you are looking to donate but cannot get to the drop-off point you are invited to contact them and they will collect from you.
