Century 21 invests in Free State market

Bloemfontein COurt of AppealBloemfontein, SA’s judicial capital, has seen its population grow by 59% in the past 20 years and is expected to be home to 623,000 people by 2030.

“The province offers house hunters exceptional value and return, with key markets such as Bloemfontein, Welkom, Bethlehem, Clarens and Harrismith ready for growth,” said Harry Nicolaides, Century 21 CEO. “The cost of living is competitively priced in the Free State and its capital, Bloemfontein, which is why the area is growing in appeal.

Bloemfontein is the sixth-fastest growing city by population and in the next 14 years is predicted to be South Africa’s fifth-fastest growing city, according to the United Nations.

“The property market in Bloemfontein and the Free State is uniquely positioned to experience rapid growth, which is why we are opening an office in the city,” said Nicolaides, adding that the office will open on 1 October in the suburb of Dan Pienaar. “The Bloemfontein office is our first in the Free State Province and this will definitely be the stepping stone for the brand to expand in towns like Welkom, Bethlehem, Clarens and Harrismith, and even to Kimberley in the adjoining Northern Cape.”
