Property developer, Blok, today launched TENONQ – its largest development to date. Situated in Sea Point between Kloof and Regent Roads, the eight-storey building will house 53 pet-friendly apartments.
“Although we have increased the quantity of homes, we will by no means be compromising on the quality which purchasers have come to expect from our properties,” said Jacques van Embden, MD of Blok.
The development includes nine one-bedroom apartments sized 37m² to 40m²; 10 lofts sized between 41m² and 44m²; two two-bedroomed apartments measuring in the region of 70m² and two two-bedroomed garden units with internal proportions of around 92m² or 108m². There will also be 28 two-bedroom duplex units measuring between 72m² and 87m² as well as two, three-bedroomed duplex penthouses with estimated proportions of between 111m² and 117m².
While many have been sold already, or reserved, one of the available one-bedroom 47m² apartments is priced at R3,250m. Buyers will therefore pay more than R69,000/m².
The building boasts communal facilities such as a roof-top garden, swimming pool, braai area, guest lobby with a concierge, as well as indoor and outdoor gyms; access control, CCTV and security guards; as well as parking with one or two parking bays per apartment, and visitors, motorbike and bicycle bays.
Ground-breaking is scheduled for March 2017 with occupation in summer 2018/2019.
