Sectional title corner – Why is our security levy payable by PQ?
Hi, is there any way that we can get around the fact that the security levy is calculated and payable by participation quota (PQ)? We feel that in our sectional title complex, which consists of various sized homes, it unfair to say that a big house gets better security than a smaller one. Why do we then have to pay per PQ? – Valerie
Hi Valerie, unfortunately you can’t get around it. The act clearly prescribes that cost must be split per PQ.
