Foolproof roast potatoes that are perfect every time
I can’t think of any other food that forms the basis of as many comfort dishes as the humble potato, and having read a recent study showing that potato and sweet potato are both important in a balanced diet, I see little reason not to indulge.
In addition to being delicious, potatoes are also so versatile; from creamy mash to crispy chips, but this recipe is definitely my favourite and so easy to make.
4-5 medium large potatoes
Cook and spray
- Peel the potatoes and cut them in four chunks, or eight if you would like them less chunky.
- Boil the potatoes until soft. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- Place the potatoes in the baking dish after it has been sprayed with Spray and Cook, sprinkle some Aromat and pepper over, or if you like spicy food use some cayenne pepper or chilli flakes. Place small lumps of butter in between the potatoes.
- Grill until golden brown and crispy on the outside, add some parsley and enjoy!
