Most house robbers live only 15 minutes away from your home

More than two-thirds of house robbers live between 10 and 30 minutes away from your house and 57% strike between 7pm and 12pm.

A study by Professor Zinn* makes interesting and useful reading in terms of the way South African criminals set about planning and executing a domestic burglary. Prof Zinn interviewed 30 convicted and incarcerated criminals and we have captured these results in an infographic below.
