[WATCH] How do I buy out my deceased father’s third in a joint bond?

Hi, I need some advice please. My father and mother are joint owners on my bond, but they never contributed and were only added for affordability purposes. My father died without a will 7 years ago.

How do I remove him and my mom from my bond? – Olicia

My husband and I advised our previous landlord of our early cancellation (within 20 business days) in person and in writing as the area advertised was not Chelsea Village and was not safe due to a 24-hour gambling establishment as well as several vagrants/illegal immigrants banging on the door.

We forfeited the two months’ deposit which the landlord held.

We are now, three months after vacating the property, being threatened verbally and the landlord is now demanding the agent’s fee.

Please advise if this is legal. – Irene
