[WATCH] Who is liable for injuries on common property?

falling face first resize

Hi, I live in a shareblock property in Overport, Durban. At that time the chairman had erected two rocks outside the entrance to the property to prevent vehicles parking in the entrance.

Subsequently my wife fell over the rock and fractured her wrist. On another instance a friend also fell over the rock, but luckily she was not hurt.

Can the chairman be liable for the injuries? My wife’s  fall happened about four or five years ago.
