#TashaTests 4 no-bake energy bite recipes

Feeling a little low on energy? Tried all the energy bars on the market but none of them seem to work for you? Well, you should give energy bites a try. And with these four easy-to-make and no-bake recipes from Tasty on Facebook, you will never want to try anything else again.

Banana chocolate chip energy bitesbanana choc chip oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry oats (100g)
  • ¼ cup almond butter (60g)
  • ¼ cup honey (85g)
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (85g)

Method

  1. Mix the oats, almond butter and the honey in a large bowl.
  2. Mash the banana and then mix it in with the oats mixture.
  3. Add the chocolate chips and then mix.
  4. Place the bowl in the fridge for 60 to 90 minutes, or until the mixture has solidified.
  5. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.

Vanilla almond energy bitesvanilla and almond

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry oats (100g)
  • ¼ cup almond butter (60g)
  • ¼ cup honey (85g)
  • ½ cup almonds (70g)
  • ½ tsp. vanilla essence

Method

  1. Mix the oats, almond butter and honey in a large bowl.
  2. Add the almonds and the vanilla, and mix.
  3. Place bowl in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the mixture has solidified.
  4. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.

Oatmeal raisin energy bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry oats (100g)
  • ¼ cup almond butter (60g)
  • ¼ cup honey (85g)
  • ¼ cup raisin (35g)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecan nuts (30g)
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. vanilla essence
  • Salt to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Mix the oats, almond butter and honey in a large bowl.
  2. Add the raisins, pecans, cinnamon, vanilla and the salt, and mix.
  3. Place the bowl in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the mixture has solidified.
  4. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.

Blueberry energy bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry oats (100g)
  • ¼ cup almond butter (60g)
  • ¼ cup honey (85g)
  • ½ cup dried blueberries (50g)
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. vanilla essence
  • Salt optional

Method

  1. Mix the oats, almond butter and honey in a large bowl.
  2. Add the dried blueberries, cinnamon, vanilla essence and the salt to taste, and mix together.
  3. Place the bowl in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the mixture has solidified.
  4. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
