HomeBid continues to grow, needs more agents

success high flying

Newly appointed general manager of HomeBid and industry veteran, Mike Blumberg (55), said that the HomeBid model of 1.95% commission is proving exceptionally successful. So much so that due to receiving more than 20 new sellers a day and some 60 new buyers a day HomeBid requires more experienced estate agents.

“Our top agents sell between 15 to 20 homes a month and with our new shared commission model they are likely to earn between R67,500 and R135,000 per month, depending on the commission structure they choose,” said Blumberg. “We expect our agents to earn at least R45,000/month in commissions for themselves.

“Our listing and booking agents ‘tee up’ the buyers and sellers, and our office-bound sales agents conclude the sales. There is no canvassing or show days as we receive more than 20 new sellers a day and more than 60 new buyers each day!”
